Al Kinkle
Founder & President
Al Kinkle, the Founder, President, and Family Peer Specialist at Kimmie's Recovery Zone in Fort Myers, Florida, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his roles. With an impressive 47-year residency in Florida and 49 years of marriage to his wife Debbie, Al is deeply connected to the community. His professional credentials include certifications as a Certified Club Manager (CCM), Certified Chief Executive (CCE), Community Association Manager (CAM), and Food Management Professional (FMP), showcasing his versatility and expertise.
Al's commitment to community service is reflected in his extensive involvement and awards. He has chaired the Barbara's Friends/Golisano Children's Hospital Cancer Fund Advisory Committee and spearheaded Lexington Country Club's Charity Event for the same cause. Al is also the founder of Kimmie's Angels, a fund supporting families during treatment at Golisano Children's Hospital, and the Kinkle Family Endowment Fund, dedicated to aiding the Kimmie's Angels Assistance Fund. His advocacy for Women Empowering Women has contributed to fundraising for scholarships (2016-2019). Al has held key leadership positions, including past President of Lee Memorial Health System Auxiliary and the Florida Chapter of Club Managers Association of America. He has received prestigious awards, including Man of the Year recognitions from the Migrant Worker's Association, Palm Beach (1995), and Organization Rehabilitation and Training – ORT (1993).
In his prior employment, Al served as the Chief Operating Officer at Lexington Country Club for nearly two decades (2001-2020) and held significant roles at Boca Woods Country Club, Aberdeen Golf and Country Club, and Summer Glen in Ocala. Beyond his professional life, Al is an accomplished tri-athlete, having completed 100 events, including five Ironman Duathlons. Al Kinkle's impactful legacy is characterized by his outstanding professional contributions, coupled with an unwavering dedication to community service and philanthropy, leaving an enduring mark on Fort Myers and beyond.
